The Story
It started with a broken MR2.
Black Widow began as a 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder with a failed 1ZZ-FE. What could have been a simple engine replacement became the starting point for something much bigger: building the car we actually wanted.
Built, not bought.
The goal isn't to turn the MR2 into a show car. Black Widow is being developed as a lightweight, mid-engine street and circuit machine — built progressively, tested properly, and improved as the project grows.
